Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the trader must be informed:

The withdrawal must be declared by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal is sent before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If the contract is withdrawn, all payments received from the consumer, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from the choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered), shall be reimbursed without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which the notification of withdrawal is received.

Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Reimbursement may be withheld until the goods have been received back or until proof has been provided that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.

The goods must be returned or handed over without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which the withdrawal was declared. The deadline is met if the goods are sent before the period of fourteen days has expired.

Return Shipping Costs

In the event of withdrawal, the customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Liability for Diminished Value

The consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is the result of handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to personal needs (e.g. personalized 3D prints)

  • sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery
